Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Party Fry collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Party Fry is operated by Sataloop Technologies, which is responsible for your information under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details: name, username, email address, phone number, address, country and city, profile photo and password (stored in a protected, scrambled form).
Booking details: the event, ticket types and quantities, the name, email and phone number given for the booking, and payment information such as the method and status. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by Party Fry.
Organizer details: business or display name, contact details, event content, and payout details for withdrawals.
Messages you send us through support tickets, the contact form or email.

Information created when you use Party Fry

Ticket and entry records: each ticket's QR code and its status (not arrived, inside, outside, cancelled), and each scan, with its time, gate and result.
Perk records: which perks were claimed with a ticket, when, where and by which vendor, including the bill and discount for vendor discounts.
Team records: for people working at an event, their role, permissions and the scans they made.
Technical information: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and the cookies and similar storage described in our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use it

To provide the service: create accounts, sell and deliver tickets, check tickets at the gate, record perks, and let Organizers run their events.
To process payments, refunds and Organizer payouts.
To send service messages: booking confirmations, payment updates, event changes, team invitations and password resets.
To keep Party Fry safe: prevent fraud and ticket misuse, resolve disputes, and keep records of corrections made at the gate.
To improve Party Fry and to answer your questions.
To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

We use your information because it is needed to provide the service you asked for, because the law requires it, because we have a legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable platform, or because you agreed to it. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

The event's Organizer receives the booking details of guests who book their event, and the entry and perk records for that event, so they can run it.
The Organizer's team sees what they need to do their job when they scan a ticket, such as the guest's name and ticket type.
Service providers who help us run Party Fry, such as hosting, email and payment providers, under agreements that protect your information.
Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or Party Fry.
A buyer or successor if Party Fry or Sataloop Technologies is reorganized or sold, with this policy continuing to apply.

Some of these providers may store information outside Ghana. When that happens we take steps to keep it protected as Ghanaian law requires.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is open. We keep booking, payment, entry and perk records for as long as needed for the event, for disputes and refunds, and for the period required by tax and accounting law. After that we delete or anonymise them.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct information that is wrong (you can also edit your profile yourself);
delete your information or close your account, unless we must keep it by law or to settle a dispute;
stop using your information for a purpose you object to, including any marketing.

6. Security

We protect your information with secure connections, scrambled passwords, access controls and permission checks. Gate and vendor staff only see what their role allows. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your ticket codes private.

7. Children

Party Fry accounts are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for important changes, tell you by email or on the Platform.
